10 Stolen Vehicles Recovered in One City in 12 Days

These stolen vehicles were recovered in the Red Deer Alberta region between Jan 13 – Jan 25, 2022.  Many of them were located and recovered by the police within just hours of the alert being created on Lightcatch.

Many times the public provided multiple updates showing the location and the direction of travel.

Examples of how the public supported community safety are shown in the app screenshots of these alerts below.

28,000+ Recoveries every 2 weeks

If every community in North America used Lightcatch like the residents of Red Deer did in January there would be 28,000+ stolen vehicle recoveries every two weeks.
If criminals had 28,000 stolen vehicles recovered by police every 2 weeks soon they would not want to be a vehicle thief any longer.

The effectiveness of Lightcatch makes everyone's property much harder to steal.  Lightcatch also makes people safer by recovering stolen items faster, making it harder for criminals to profit from property crimes.

The more people that use Lightcatch near you the safer you and your property will be.

Share this message to help ensure your community can stop criminals like the people in Red Deer did.

(Red Deer's population is 129,000.  10 stolen vehicles were recovered in 12 days.  The North American population is 367,510,000.  USA=329,500,000, Canada=38,010,000.  If the same recovery rate happened across the population of 367,510,000 = 28,392 recoveries in 12 days.)
